Why am I in school...

I am in school because my parents send me to school. But as I continue my studies, I learned that I am studying for myself. My parents pay my tuition, allowances, and all but my output in school reflects me and not them. Yes, they want to know my grades but I found out that it doesn't matter whatever was written on my course card. They don't comment anything negative about it. They just seem to accept whole hearted what I have given to them. Then I began thinking again that I really like what they've been doing all this time. Because of them, I have my own will and freedom to do what I want in school. I have the liberty to spend my time in studying and doing other stuffs. If I did well in school, then I would have high grades. My parents would be really proud. But that high grades don't belong to them, but to me. Therefore, I am studying because of my parents but not really for them. But it can show my gratitude to them. I am studying for myself so that someday, somehow I can live and become a good human to our society.
